Props and Character art - E-Line Media Internship

Characters and props done for my internship with E-Line Media. I had a lot of fun creating props meant to look like handcrafted miniatures! I was given a lot of freedom to explore the look of the characters, narrowing down with what features the team liked best. I was also able to learn a bit of rigging through this experience!

Road done by Collin Harris:

The buildings were done by Tara Sypherd and the road was done by Collin Harris, two amazing artists I had the pleasure of working with during my internship!

A closer look at the characters. Each component of the human model is modular: body, head, clothing, hair, and facial features. This way, a wide variety of features can be swapped around and animated with a single rig.

This is a quick showcase of the rig I made for the humans. The facial features are made to be swappable rather than rigged to mimic stop motion dolls. Limbs include IK and FK functionality. The limbs are meant to appear noodly, like on a rubber toy.
